Today is the last day of 2009.
Oh gosh! 2009 went pass really fast!
Let's recap some of the eventful moments in 2009.
1) Jan - MarNothing much happened in the 1st quarter of the year. I just graduated from RMIT in December and I was jobless! CNY came and CNY goes and I started my part time job at Lasalle for 1 month straight after CNY. It was a super relax job with good money. And I tot Lasalle has a pretty cool building (: In March, I started another part time job with OrangeTee. Property agency which, I tot was my worst paying job, most time consuming and most brainless job I had ever ever done. If there's one regret in 2009, it would be taking up this job lor. If not for SOT, I wouldn't even be bothered to take up this job with flexi hours *SIGHS*
2) Apr - JunSOT finally started! I had the most brilliant time over there! I dedicate my most happening, most trying, most exciting, HAPPIEST time to the times in SOT.
I will never forget the discipline lifestyle we have (starting praise & worship at 8.45am SHARP, rushing to tap our card before 8.45am, morning prayer meetings, etc), all the preparations for the weekly exams (which nearly killed us), the rush to read 10 books to complete 10 assignments which was totally crazy, preparation for mock cell group (which I had my fair share of nightmare with Eugene :x), preparation for 10 sermon outlines which turned all of us into pandas and zombies.. haha (: and of cos, the most exciting preaching test! I really love preaching! =D
And, I totally adore SOT'09 Team 24. They are made up of the prettiest, loveliest people. We went through thick and thin together. All the craps & rubbish we shared during these months.. I love them all! And my team is the most musically talented you know! 4 of them are in the music team! Timothy plays the guitar and he is also the BV cum choir, Junhao & Frank are the bass guitarist and Kaori plays the keyboard. They are awesome!

3) Jul - SeptSOT stretched over till August and the last 2 months of SOT was the hardest! With preaching test, exams and mission trips.. the days are sooo.. packed! Preaching test went pretty well! Exams too.. hahaha.. although homiletics is horror!
Mission trip to Batam is so fun! (More like shopping trip)

Crazy people do crazy things. HAHAHa (:

Then in August, we had our graduation.
1st up, it was the graduation dinner at Keppel Club!

Yes. We also did a lot of crazy things. You can view it
here. Too many to upload already! ahhahaha
And finally, our graduation service.

You can view the photos on
facebook too!
Time flies. I really miss those times together with them. The overseas students are all back to their own countries and those in Singapore.. its still quite hard to meet them cos all of us are in different services. I wonder when will be the next time when all of us come back together?
So after graduation, I accepted the job in my current workplace.Started work in September. Though its a small company, but there are so much things for me to learn especially since I am totally new in the trading line. The boss and all are very nice people! Its quite hard to see rich people so 脚踏实地 you know (: I guess because the bosses work through the years to build up their own business.. that's why they can understand the employees and all. I can say, I got no regrets joining this company!
In September, my cell group leader got married to his sweetheart of 11 years! hahaha.. I was first time being the ah-yi.
4) Oct - DecVery busy with work. In end Nov, my probation was finally over! haha.. There are countless celebrations in office because of birthdays and in Dec, there are Christmas and New Year.. and this company, we are always eating! hahaha.. Today, my boss gave me some good news (:
On 6 Nov 2009,
Justin Tay was born!

Such a cutie! He's nearly 8 weeks old now! (:
Life will never be the same when a baby comes along in the family already!
Oh yeah, and I got my iphone too! hahaha
So, to sum it all up, 2009 was an exciting year for me.
Lots of trying, lots of new things, lots of changes but of cos, there are room for improvement!
Learning to stretch the capacity even more, better stress management and rising up to a new level of breakthrough. That's resolution for 2010. Oh yeah! And I want to go for a real mission trip in 2010! (:
Till date, plans for overseas trip are Bangkok with the SIM girls in Apr/May and of cos, Taiwan with the poly girlies in July/Aug.
I hope all trips will come to pass, seriously.
We always talk about going overseas together but none materialise at all. HAHHA (:
Lastly, thank God for such a fruitful year. The year started out with a lost future, but ended on a brilliant note.
Thank God for placing awesome people in my life, people whom I can rely on in times of need.
I pray 2010 will be the best year yet. Many many many more awesome moments to come! (:
<3 loves.
